Stylish and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the old town. Perfect for our visit to the Fringe. Positive: Fantastic location. Right in the heart of things, yet still peaceful and quiet. Stylish decor, comfortable beds and sofas, kitchen well-stocked for utensils. Negative: Bathroom floor looking shabby, recurring smell of drains coming from the bathroom- very apparent on arrival. More crockery needed to avoid constant washing up.

Very enjoyable Positive: Great central location could listen to Tattoo at the castle. Garage was extremely handy for storing our bicycles ! Despite being very close to busy roads it was very peaceful ! Negative: The sofa bed was not so comfortable and maybe leave a welcome pack

Positive: El espacio del departamento.

Super Lage, aber die entschädigt nicht für alles Positive: Die Lage der Wohnung war super, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Negative: Am Abend vor der Anreise hatten wir noch keine Informationen wie wir in die Wohnung kommen können. Erst nach dringender Bitte um Antwort kam dann mitten in der Nacht die Mail mit den Check-In Informationen wie z:B. der Code für den Schlüsselkasten. Wir hatten uns auch extra für dieses Apartment entschieden, weil es einen kostenlosen Parkplatz angeboten hat. Für uns wäre hilfreich gewesen zu wissen, dass die Wohnung mitten in der Umweltzone liegt und wir mit unserem Auto gar nicht hineinfahren dürfen. Da wir zu fünft unterwegs waren mussten wir das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer mitbenutzen, leider fehlte aber im Wohnzimmer ein Rollo am Fenster, so dass es bei Nacht sehr hell zum Schlafen war. Am meisten hat uns aber gestört, dass das Wasser in Bad und Küche nicht richtig funktioniert hat. Das Warmwasser versiegte nach ein paar Sekunden und es kam überhaupt kein Wasser mehr aus der Leitung. Warmwasser zum Spülen haben wir mit dem Wasserkocher gemacht, Duschen war in der gesamten Zeit unseres Aufenthalts nicht möglich, da wir nicht eiskalt duschen wollten.

Get the hot water working and this will be perfect. Positive: We liked the central location and the lovely ambiance of the immediate neighborhood. Made us feel like we were living in Edinburgh, not just tourists. Negative: There must be a problem with the water pressure that affects only the hot water. The shower, kitchen sink, and bathroom sink hot water came out of the faucets very, very slowly. Is this deliberate to limit the amount of hot water we could use?
