Holyrood Duplex 3-Bedroom Apartment

Positive: They have made this accommodation very cosy and it was very clean. Nice touches to make you feel at home. Easy to walk to Old Town. Very comfortable for 5 adults. Negative: It's in an old building up 3 flights of stairs, which is fine as long as you can do stairs. Just important to guide your expectations.

Price quality not good Positive: The location was great 5 minutes walk from Centre and pubs Kitchen en shower was new Parking included Negative: We paid a lot of money for this apartment. So you can expect something for it The cleaning was bad. The beds were very bad, too soft and squeeky. There was not even a coffee cup machine. The building was very stinky The furniture overall was not very nice and old. .

Positive: Location, walkable to tourist spots, souvenir shops, Waverley Stn and Arthur's Seat. Easy check-in. Single bedroom was comfy. Double bed too small for 2 people. Extensive range of interesting books and board games, though we didn't get to use them. Negative: No clothes dryer and limited space to hang clothes in the kitchen. Shower curtain had a bit of a musty smell (common among shower curtains). Washing machine was set in one of the bedrooms' wardrobe, meaning no washing can be done in the morning when the occupier was asleep. No lift in the building (we know about this before booking) and the apartment unit itself spans over 2 storeys (this we didn't know, maybe my oversight). Central heating was difficult to set with unclear instructions. Beds and pillows were too soft.

Holyrood Positive: Proximity to the old heart of Edinburgh City, very quiet place, safe area. Host persons in charge, Agnes and Sarah have been very responsive at my demands during the stay, quick response, great communication and that is precious when we are travelling in new area. Negative: Water pressure at the shower is low , perhaps it could be improved.

Positive: Grand appartement , lumineux, bien situé et très propre. Un petit super marché se trouve juste à côté ce qui est pratique. Conciergerie très réactive Negative: Une machine à café serait utile, ainsi qu’un tabouret de plus pour pouvoir manger à 5.
