Holyrood Duplex 3- Bedrooms Apartment

Disappointing experience; stay spoiled by one of the neighbours. Positive: The location of the property is ideally suited for visits to the university and the centre of Edinburgh. The flat itself was functional and clean, although the building was somewhat grim looking and resembled student accommodation. Negative: Unfortunately, our stay was completely spoiled, on our second afternoon, by the discovery of dog poo on the floor below and the stairs, which seemed to originate in the flat below. Repeated complaints to the host resulted in the owner coming by to clean up but it wasn't a perfect job. The stench was disgusting and nauseating. To make matters worse, we were without wifi from the second day of our stay, as the owner was changing the provider. To be fair, we received a refund of 150 pounds but that was not much compensation for the distress and inconvenience experienced.

La limpieza y los servicios dentro de la vivienda estaban muy bien, muy adecuados. Lo que pasa es que la finca (especialmente la escalera) estaba realmente sucia, en un estado de dejadez y de suciedad muy importante. Se que eso no es realmente culpa de los propietarios o arrendatarios, pero es verdad que debería avisarse con antelación a la reserva, y no solo a unas horas de ocupar el piso, como fue en mi caso. Viajaba con mi familia, incluidos niños pequeños, y el estado de la finca realmente hizo que nuestra experiencia no fuera todo lo agradable que debería haber sido. El estado de la escalera es realmente vomitivo... Deberían avisarse estas cosas para al menos saber cada uno con lo que se va a encontrar.

Nice apt in a sketchy area Positive: The apartment itself was comfy and lovely. The apt is about a 10-25 to get to everything Negative: The outside area is very sketchy. The building in which the pt resides is sketchy. During the night, the street noise was very loud, including people fighting, dogs barking, and birds making the strangest noises ever!

Positive: Excellent views and location Negative: There was a lot of key boxes so it was hard to know which one was ours-also we could have used a second set of keys as we were a family staying there one set is hard. The location was excellent

Positive: El piso duplex por dentro está muy bien con todo moderno y acogedor, casi nuevo y bien equipado. La situación inmejorable a 5 mins de la calle del castillo y vistas a la montaña estupendas Negative: No tiene ascensor. Es un tercer piso y la escalera del edificio está muy pero que muy sucia. Contrasta mucho con el interior.
