Holyrood New Apartment

Experiencia turbia Positive: ubicación Negative: Nos alojamos en este apartamento en familia y, aunque el interior está en buen estado y bien equipado, la experiencia general fue muy negativa. Desde que llegamos, el olor a marihuana era constante, tanto dentro del apartamento como en las zonas comunes. La entrada del edificio estaba en un estado lamentable: sucia, con un olor insoportable y claramente sin limpiar desde hacía mucho tiempo. Los alrededores también daban mala impresión, con personas merodeando que parecían estar relacionadas con el consumo o la búsqueda de drogas. No es un lugar que recomendaría para familias con hijos ni para quienes busquen un entorno tranquilo y limpio. Una pena, porque el apartamento en sí podría ser agradable si se cuidara el mantenimiento del edificio y se controlara el ambiente.

Muy buen lugar x precio calidad. Y tambien cercania. Positive: Dos baños con ducha. Multiples cuartos y camas Negative: Nada. Estuvo todo genial.

Buena alternativa. Positive: Apartamento práctico con todas las facilidades. Negative: A pesar de situarse en una zona céntrica de la ciudad los alrededores estaban descuidados y no ofrecían una sensación de total seguridad. La bañera del baño grande no tragaba bien y se inundaba en cada ducha.

I wish I booked somewhere else. Positive: Cozy and clean. Walkable distance to the royal mile. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with a large refrigerator. Negative: The smell of smoking in the bathrooms. We noticed it right away but it was worse in the evenings and so bad at times that our kids didn’t want to brush their teeth or use the toilet. Shutting the door and opening windows wasn’t enough. Since the master bed is just a few feet from the bathroom, nights were difficult and my wife chose to sleep downstairs on the couch with our child on several nights. We contacted the owner the first morning who brought an ozone machine, but we couldn’t be in the apartment during its use because of health concerns. It was only a temporary solution. Further requests from the owners led to vague responses (would talk to the neighbors who share the vents, would block the vents) but it never led to any action. We filed a formal complaint with booking but because we never requested to leave (we were trying to give the owner time and opportunity to fix it) there was no recourse or financial compensation. Previous reviews were negative regarding the outside of the facility which was accurate—perhaps should have clued us into problems with the neighborhood and choice of preferred drug preferences. We felt that the “smoking free” chosen option in booking was misleading, to say the least.

Positive: The flat is clean and well equipped Negative: The flat is on the third floor and no lift we had climb the stairs twice a day .the building is old but the flat inside is neat
